What is the maximum voltage that your phase monitors can handle? What about the units that offer overvoltage protection?
Use the table below to determine the maximum continuous voltage rating of all Macromatic Three-Phase Monitor Relays. Voltages in excess of these values could cause damage or improper operation:
|Catalog Number||Maximum Voltage|
Introduced April 2014
|PAP208, PAP240, PAP400 & PAP480||550V|
|PMPU & FMPU-FA8||550V|
|Obsolete (pre-April 2014)||PAP, PCP & PLP||110% of the line-line voltage rating of the product|
The PMP & PMD Series three-phase monitor relays offer overvoltage protection at 110% of line-line voltage. When the system voltage exceeds 110% of the line-line voltage setting of the product, the unit will trip. However, per the table above, both products have sufficient room above the 110% overvoltage trip setting to allow limited operation beyond the trip point.
